At Kootenay Discovery School we have a dedicated Student Services Teacher to support students on Individual Education Plans. 

Communication is a key component that leads to the success of the Individual Education Plan. Together with parents and students, the Student Services Teacher supports the online learning process and provides strategies and resources to suit the individual needs of the student. This is provided through weekly online check ins with students and parents as well as coordination with other team members and teachers.
